About Sara Hickson:
My specialty is aiding people in making lifelong lifestyle changes, especially those struggling with prediabetes and diabetes. I have always loved helping others, and coaching gives me the opportunity to bring my knowledge and training to bear in guiding others on a journey of health and well-being. There are many factors that contribute to making healthy changes: nutrition, activity, stress management, sleep, support. These are all factors to consider as we are looking at ways to making lifestyle modifications.
We can sum my approach to change up as ‘slow and steady wins the race’. Quick results are tempting, but genuine change happens best in ways that fit into your life and are manageable and achievable. I am here to help you identify those steps, make plans, and realize your goals.
When I’m not coaching, you can find me skiing, hiking, or enjoying some yoga out on the deck.
