My name is Dr. Rizza Bermio-Gonzalez. I have experience, knowledge, and interests in psychology, education, and nutrition that I have obtained through my professional and academic background.
My academic credentials include a Doctor of Psychology, three master’s degrees in Forensic Psychology, Education, and Nutrition, and I am a Certified Holistic Nutritionist. Professionally, I have experience in mental health and education and have worked with individuals from diverse backgrounds. I am a professional educator, coach, and public speaker, and I write for a well-known mental health website. Teaching, educating, and helping others is something I have found that I am truly passionate about. My ultimate goal is to provide guidance to clients who are hoping to achieve wellness in their lives!
Personally speaking, my family consists of my husband of 11 years, my 18-year-old son, and our Australian Shepherd/Shelties, Yukon and Sitka. Our hobbies include fitness and traveling. In my life, I have struggled with anxiety. A few years ago, after some health scares, I became very motivated to make changes to my lifestyle. I made improvements to my fitness but lacked the knowledge to improve my nutrition. I also came to the realization that my unhealthy diet was affecting my mental health. Because of this, I pursued an education in nutrition and I set a goal for myself to help others achieve mental and physical wellness through a combination of coaching, guidance, and education.
