Practitioner Specialty or Specialties: Psychotherapy (individual adults only)
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and earned my master’s in clinical psychology from Pepperdine University and my B.F.A. in drama and politics from New York University. I completed my clinical internship at the Maple Counseling Center in Beverly Hills, treating individuals and couples. I then worked with chronically emotionally dysregulated women in residential treatment, where I fell in love with DBT, a profound, evidence-based method for enhancing our ability to think and feel deeply and clearly. I have worked for several years in highly regarded outpatient mental health and addiction treatment centers in Los Angeles, served on the Los Angeles Suicide Prevention Center crisis hotline, and was a supervisor on the Teen Line crisis line at Cedar Sinai Medical Center. Originally from California’s rural San Joaquin Valley, I now live in Los Angeles with my husband and two small children.
I work collaboratively, with warmth, compassion, directness, humor, and the occasional screen- shared nerdy worksheet. Therapy with me can help you increase clarity into personal strengths, values, and goals, identify and change patterns that are holding you back, reflect on progress, and make lasting meaning from your experiences.
