Max is a Triathlete that actively participates in Half distance Triathlons and Full Distance Triathlons (Ironman). Due to his personal interest and avid research in sports & fitness training and his understanding of the dynamics of the human body, he became a National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Certified Personal Trainer in 2018. He also holds a Corrective Exercise Specialization, Performance Enhancement Specialization, and is a Certified Conditioning Coach (CCC).

Max’s passion for fitness began at age 14 when he started doing his first triathlons in his homeland Costa Rica. As a former Executive Chef, he understands the importance of nutrition in helping one achieve their wellness goal. His background in the fitness field includes health coaching, fitness classes, personal trainer, group training, and athletic performance training. So, if you are new to fitness or a seasoned athlete looking to break your personal record or prepare for a race, he will help you get to the next level. Max is apt at evaluating his client’s fitness conditions and abilities to create a curated training program that meets their fitness potential.

His holistic approach to fitness is geared towards finding a client-centered routine that incorporates age, ability, cardiovascular, and strength training; while emphasizing the concept of flexibility and balance in achieving physical wellness. Most importantly, he strives to provide clients with a positive and satisfying experience that inspires confidence in their personal ability to fulfill their health and life goals. Fitness is his life and his passion is to ignite that enthusiasm in his clients.
