About Laurie Daniel Kincaid:
What brought me to this wellness journey was my studies in Community Counseling as a graduate student at Northeast Louisiana University. It was there that I was introduced to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which examines negative thought patterns that are related to emotional and behavioral disturbance. This practice has served myself and many of my clients in improving awareness of thoughts and learning to challenge core beliefs, which is the first step on the journey to healing.
In 1999, I became a certified yoga teacher through Dharma Delta Yoga School (200 hours). Practices such as mindfulness, breathwork, meditation, and asana have served as beneficial tools in managing stress and pain and preventing it from spiraling out of control.
As my passion grew for learning and teaching health and wellness, I opened In Health Wellness. For the past 20 years, my mission has been to educate, encourage, and empower others to achieve a higher level of personal wellness and fulfillment.
I later became a certified Health and Wellness Coach through Wellcoaches where I further learned to customize information that’s relevant to client’s needs and individual challenges or goals, helps to explore and discover inner strengths, motivators, and lifestyle solutions for lasting health.
