Clinical Psychology, Certified Personal and Executive Coach
About Dr. Shabazz:
Dr. Barbara Ford Shabazz is a counselor and clinical psychologist by training, who coaches by choice. This author of ‘Intentional Balance’, and the owner of Intentional Activities has served students, clients, and the larger community as a leader, instructor, advisor, speaker, consultant, therapist, and coach for over 25+ years. Her goal with Intentional Activities is to tap into the inherent strengths of each client, equipping them with the tools necessary to live a more action-oriented and authentic life.
Figuring life out – whether career or personal – isn’t always linear. When the curve balls come, it’s her goal to help you maximize your strengths and take your best swing. Although coaching isn’t a replacement for therapy, it IS a viable option to actively get unstuck, move forward, and live the life that you desire.
Her work, rooted in positive psychology, will help to facilitate effective personal/professional development and sustainable change for you. Practically speaking, she’s available to support clients in navigating: anti-racist lifestyle integration, racial healing, disrupting negativity, discoverig personal meaning, achieving goals and intentional balance, fostering accountability through purposeful action, re-setting boundaries, and living their truth intentionally.
Ready to do the work? Book a call. It’s #intentional.
